Outside Linebackers

Roster Locks: Za’Darius Smith, Preston Smith, Rashan Gary

It’s likely Green Bay only carries four outside linebackers heading into 2020, and three of those jobs are already locked up. Obviously, the dynamic and underrated duo of Za’Darius Smith and Preston Smith lead the way. Each of them racked up double-digit sacks last year and are smack dab in the middle of their prime.

As for Rashan Gary, last year’s 12th overall pick, his arrow his pointing straight up. After a developmental year where he learned the ropes and worked on refining his craft, Gary’s ready to let his athleticism and newfound skills reign supreme. He’s been loud in camp–both with his talk and his play–and the Packers have a huge role ready for him in 2020.
