Running Backs

Roster Locks: Aaron Jones, AJ Dillon, Tyler Ervin

This position is a bit more difficult, with Jamaal Williams’ name obviously missing despite his strong camp. Williams has improved his pass-catching chops, but his lack of explosiveness and Green Bay’s depth at the position makes it difficult to lock him into a spot here.

Aaron Jones will do the heavy lifting in the regular season and is a dynamic player with the rock in his hands. How much AJ Dillon plays remains to be seen, as he’s a great change of pace back to Jones. Dillon is a powerful and punishing runner who will make defensive backs and linebackers think twice about stepping up to tackle him one on one.

Tyler Ervin’s spot is locked in if, for no other reason, because of his special teams’ ability. He proved to be a good returner for Green Bay last year and was a huge shot in the arm in that category. However, the Packers found ways to get him the ball once or twice a game on offense, something that could continue in 2020.
