1. Will they stay healthy?

For the most part, the Packers’ defense was extremely healthy in 2020, a huge reason why they were so successful on this side of the ball. They’re healthy once again (knock on wood) with just a couple weeks remaining before Week 1, but will that continue all season long?

Kirksey has a long injury history and has played in very limited games over the last two seasons. If he goes down once again, Green Bay is in big trouble at inside linebacker. As of now, Oren Burks, Ty Summers, Curtis Bolton and Kamal Martin are battling it out for snaps at ILB 2. However, they are all unproven and have clear limitations.

Cornerback is another position to watch with Kevin King battling injuries throughout his career. He was healthy in 2019 and turned in his best season as a pro. With free agency looming in 2021, he’ll try to replicate his health while building on his success. If he goes down, Green Bay has to hope someone like Josh Jackson–their 2018 second-round pick–is ready to step up.
