4. Four Packers’ go over 500 receiving yards

Aaron Rodgers loves to spread the wealth. Of course, when he was doing so earlier in his career it was to receiving studs like Greg Jennings, Jordy Nelson, Donald Driver, Jermichael Finley and James Jones. That’s not quite the case at this stage, but, regardless, he’s going to find a number of receiving threats in 2020.

Davante Adams is the obvious choice to go over 500 receiving yards. He’s the Packers’ stud and will be relied upon heavily in the passing game. It’s a lot murkier after him. Allen Lazard appears to have solidified himself as Green Bay’s second receiver, making him the second-most likely candidate. Lazard finished just shy of the 500-yard mark in 2019 with 477 receiving yards.

Aaron Jones, the Packers’ starting running back is the third candidate to top 500 yards. He’ll likely see an increase in his work in the passing game after accruing 474 receiving yards a season ago. After him, there are a couple of candidates for the fourth spot including Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Jake Sternberger. Despite falling off the face of the earth over the last half of the season, Valdes-Scantling was just 48 yards shy of achieving this mark. We’ll see if he can improve his consistency and take a step forward in 2020.
