The NBA has released the playoff schedules and the Milwaukee Bucks find themselves with a bunch of day games against the Orlando Magic.

On Thursday night, the NBA announced the playoff schedule for the entire postseason, including the Milwaukee Bucks’ first round series against the Orlando Magic.

Despite losing nine of their last 13 games, including going just 3-5 in the bubble, the Bucks finished the season with a 56-17 record–the best in both the Eastern Conference and the entire NBA. That earned them the right to “host” eighth-seeded Magic in the first round. Of course, with the games being played on a neutral court inside the Orlando bubble, the loss of homecourt advantage is a big one.

Orlando won the prize of taking on the Bucks in the first round thanks to an underwhelming 32-40 record, a step down from their 42-40 record a year ago. After winning their first two bubble games, they’ve dropped their last five and have their final contest later Thursday night against the New Orleans Pelicans.

With some series beginning on Monday, Aug. 17, this series is set to begin on Tuesday, Aug. 18th. In this best of seven series, they’ll play every other day until one team gets to four victories (that shouldn’t take very long). Unfortunately for Giannis Antetokounmpo’s nap schedule, three of the first four games are set to take place during the day–interrupting his infamous daytime naps.

Their first game comes on Tuesday at 12:30 pm Ct on NBATV. Their lone night game within the first four contests comes on Thursday, Aug. 20 at 5 pm CT. Their next two games, on Saturday, Aug. 22nd and Monday, Aug 24th come at 12 pm Ct and 12:30 pm CT respectively. If their series goes longer than that for some reason, the rest of the game times are to be determined.

Milwaukee will likely enter the series as heavy favorites over the short-handed Magic. Orlando lost Jonathan Isaac to a torn ACL earlier in the seeding games and Michael Carter-Williams’ status is unknown as well due to a left foot injury.

The only question regarding health on the Bucks’ side is Wesley Matthews who missed the final two games of the season due. However, Mike Budenhozler indicated in his postgame comments on Thursday that they should be in full health.
