Green Bay Packers Special Teams

The special teams unit is likely to stay the same for the next few years. Most NFL teams take a “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it” approach to special teams and the Green Bay Packers are no exception.

Mason Crosby has been in Green Bay since 2007. The original iPhone came out in 2007. He’s been here THAT long. Scott has had his occasional struggles but has a huge leg and when he’s at his best he can easily hit 60-yarders to flip the field all game.

Hunter Bradley is a long snapper. Good long snappers tend to stick around until they make a mistake. He hasn’t made a catastrophic one yet, so he’s still here and he probably will be in two years. Brett Goode was here since 2008, so the Packers like to keep the same long snapper, and Bradley could very well stick for the same amount of time.

Final Prediction

Quarterback: Aaron Rodgers and Jordan Love

I predict that this will be Rodgers’ final year in Green Bay and then he will be traded and only incur $2,852,000 of dead cap.

Running Back: A.J. Dillon, Jamaal Williams, 3rd-5th round pick speed/receiving back

This could be very wrong and Williams could be cut before the season, but it is hard to see the Packers keeping Jones with all the other contracts they have to hand out next season.

Wide Receiver: Davante Adams, Allen Lazard, Equanimeous St. Brown, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Danny Amendola, 4th-7th round pick or undrafted player

In this scenario, Valdes-Scantling figures out his game and is a deep threat once again and St. Brown contributes coming back from his injury.

Tight End: Jace Sternberger, Josiah Deguara, David Njoku, 4th-6th round blocking tight end

Offensive Line: David Bakhtiari, Jon Runyan Jr., Elgton Jenkins, 2nd-4th round guard, 1st-3rd round tackle, Lucas Patrick, Simon Stepaniak, Jake Hanson, 5th-7th round pick

Defensive Line: Kenny Clark, Kingsley Keke, Denico Autry, 2rd-4th round pick, 4th-7th round pick

EDGE: Za’Darius Smith, Preston Smith, Rashan Gary, Tipa Galaei,

Inside Linebacker: Christian Kirksey, Kamal Martin, Ty Summers, 2nd-5th round pick

The large range in rounds of the possible pick here is because of the uncertainty at the position. Kirksey and Martin could be great and they might not need one, but it could be a huge need that demands a high pick.

Safety: Adrian Amos, Darnell Savage, Raven Greene, 1st-4th round box safety, 4th-undrafted backup safety

Cornerback: Jaire Alexander, 1st-3rd round pick, Daryl Worley, Chandon Sullivan, Stanford Samuels

Next. Don't Overlook Devin Funchess. dark

Those are my final Green Bay Packers’ 2022 roster predictions. There are only 47 players listed and the final six will be filled in by either low priority free agents or late-round draft picks to add depth or contribute to special teams.
