4. Packers’ Tight End

Green Bay waived Jimmy Grahm at the beginning of the offseason, saving themselves some money in the process. No matter how inconsistent Graham was throughout his Packers’ tenure, the team is set to take a step back at the position given their lack of proven options in 2020.

It appears Jace Sternberger will be given the first opportunity. He was a third-round pick last year, but struggled with injuries. He only appeared in six regular season games, failing to catch a pass.

There’s also this year’s third-round pick in Josiah Deguara. However, the reviews are all over the place with him, and it’s unclear if he’ll be able to make an impact in his rookie season. Tight end is usually the most difficult position to do so.

Marcedes Lewis is also back for another year, but is primarily a run-blocker at this stage in his career. Robert Tonyan could be a dark horse to keep an eye on.
