With the summer fast approaching, here are five positional battles that will make things interesting for the Green Bay Packers.

In any season, this is the dead time for the NFL. The draft has wrapped up and the summer is quickly approaching. Unfortunately, there are only a few organized team activities between now and training camp. Still, there are some positional battles set to take place for the Green Bay Packers we should be aware of.

Although most of the starting jobs are decided ahead of time (barring injuries), there are some critical backup jobs left to be decided. Even if these positions won’t be playing the majority of the snaps, they’ll still have an impact on the outcomes of games.

Let’s take an early look at five critical positional battles set to take place in late summer.
