1A. Kenny Clark

As bad as the Green Bay Packers’ run defense was last season, can you imagine what it would have looked like without Kenny Clark? That’s not something that I even want to think about and it’s why re-signing him is a must.

Since being drafted by the Packers, Clark has developed into one of the best defensive tackles in the NFL and he is still just 24-years-old. Whether it’s against the run or against the pass, Clark is making an impact.

According to Pro Football Focus, among defensive tackles who played at least 50 percent of their team’s snaps in 2019, Clark’s 31 run stops were the second-most and he also ranked sixth in pass-rush productivity. Not to mention that he does all of this as the main focus of every interior offensive line that he goes up against.

Earlier this offseason GM Brian Gutekunst mentioned that getting a contract extension done with Clark was on their to-do list this offseason. Obviously it hasn’t happened yet, but I suggest that the Packers take care of it sooner rather than later because Clark’s price tag is only going up.
