Jordan Love

Although many in the media want to cause a stir and find any sort of rift that they can between Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers, don’t be mistaken, this is still Rodgers’ team. And that means barring any injury, we won’t see Jordan Love outside of practices, preseason games, and perhaps the occasional blowout for at least two seasons.

However, that doesn’t mean I can’t be interested in seeing what the future of the Green Bay Packers looks like on the field.

If you flip on the tape of Love it’s pretty easy to spot what Matt LaFleur and Brian Gutekunst loved – no pun intended – so much about him. He has good size, he’s mobile, and he has a big arm that allows him to make just about any throw on the field.

Of course on the flip side, there are concerns about his on the field decision-making and interception total at Utah State.

While we all know that he still needs time to develop his game and the quarterback that we see in Week 1 of the preseason in 2020 won’t be the same quarterback that we see in two or three years when he takes over at the starter, I still cannot wait to see him in action.
