Equanimeous St. Brown

During his rookie season in 2018, Equanimeous St. Brown was able to flash a few different times with three games of at least 53 receiving yards and in two of those three, he went for at least 89 yards.

Unfortunately, prior to the beginning of the 2019 season, St. Brown was placed season-ending IR with an ankle injury.

As we all know, outside of Davante Adams and the second half emergence of Allen Lazard, the Green Bay Packers’ wide receiving corps was pretty underwhelming last season. Add in the fact that they didn’t sign a big-name free agent or even select a receiver in the draft, and many are left wondering who will step up as a reliable contributor in the passing game this season?

After missing a full season, St. Brown will certainly have to work his way back, however, he is an intriguing option when it comes to the Packers’ wide receiver unit. As I mentioned above, he was able to flash some playmaking ability in 2018, he’s in the good graces of QB1 who has raved about him multiple times, and he could give Green Bay that big slot presence that they were lacking last season.

Despite what many say, the Green Bay Packers do have talent at the receiver position, but the big question is, who is going to step up consistently? Well, I think St. Brown has the potential to make some noise once again.
