2. Jamaal Williams

When head coach Matt LaFleur took over as the Packers’ head coach in 2019, he promised to get back to the running game. That wasn’t anything new to fans, as they’d heard Mike McCarthy preach (and fail to follow through) about the running game over the years.

However, LaFleur proved true to his word. After ranking 32nd in rushing attempts per game in 2019, Green Bay jumped all the way to 13th last year. That’s quite the leap.

In the process, Aaron Jones proved to be one of the best running backs in the league, while Jamaal Williams became exposed as a liability when he was on the field. Williams is set to be a free agent in 2021, and it’s unlikely Green Bay brings him back given they just spent a second round pick on a player at his position. The Packers could expedite that process and find a trade partner this year.
