With the 2020 NFL Schedule released, let’s take a look at the easiest stretch of games for the Green Bay Packers next season.

There’s a lot to digest about the Green Bay Packers 2020 NFL schedule and we’ll help you through each part of it here at Dairyland Express. We’ve already made predictions and talked about which portion may define the season, so now let’s take a look at their easiest stretch next year.

The Packers will have every opportunity to finish the year on a hot streak and, hopefully, enter the playoffs with a lot of momentum. They’ll likely need to do so, as the begin the season in a tough way, first by traveling to Minnesota to take on the Vikings and next by playing the New Orleans Saints two weeks later.

They also have a difficult stretch in the middle of the season where they play the Tampa Bay Buccanneers, the Houston Texans, the Vikings (again) and the San Francisco 49ers in four straight games.

Thankfully, the end of the season offers some reprieve. Four of their last six regular season games come in the friendly confines of Lambeau Field.

They begin that stretch by hosting the Chicago Bears in a very winnable game. Next, they take on the Philadelphia Eagles, again at Lambeau before traveling to Detroit to compete against the Lions. Then they host the Carolina Panthers and Tennessee Titans before finishing their season at Chicago.

Although the two Bears games and the Eagles contest will be against quality opponents, it remains to be seen if the Tennessee Titans were a fluke or if they can sustain the late-season momentum they gathered in 2019. Even if they are the real deal, playing that game at Lambeau against Matt LaFleur’s former team will give the Packers some extra perks.

The Packers will likely need a strong finish to make up some ground after a tough schedule early on. They’ll have every chance to do so while also (hopefully) heading into the postseason on a winning streak.
