The NFL Draft is complete but that doesn’t mean the Green Bay Packers’ work is done. Here are 3 moves that they should be making in the near future.

After months and months of preparation, just like that the 2020 NFL Draft has come and gone. And when it comes to the Green Bay Packers, well, this draft did not play out at all how many had expected or hoped.

With receiver, interior defensive lineman, tackle, and linebacker being the biggest perceived needs for Green Bay prior to the draft, they, for the most part, would go in a much different direction. Especially early on.

Although they had nine draft picks in total, Green Bay wouldn’t select one receiver or interior defensive lineman and they wouldn’t address the tackle or linebacker positions until Day 3. Instead, they would spend their early-round picks on a quarterback, running back, and an H-back, which shows us that this offense may be heading in a different direction in 2020.

So now as we look ahead to what’s next, although the draft is a major part of the NFL offseason, once it is over, that doesn’t mean that the work is done. In fact, there are is still plenty that the Green Bay Packers – and every other NFL team for that matter – should be doing. And these three items, in particular, should be at the very top of the to-do list.
