As the Green Bay Packers put the final touches on their 2020 NFL Draft board, here are five bold predictions about what could happen.

The Green Bay Packers have a lot of work to do in this year’s NFL Draft. After making the NFC Championship game last season, they got whooped by the San Francisco 49ers for the second time that season–proving there’s a sizable gap between themselves and the top teams in the NFL.

It’s likely the hardest leap to make–to go from a good team to an elite one–but the Packers need this draft to help them do it. They didn’t have a lot of money to spend in free agency, and general manager Brian Gutekunst let two key, starting players walk–inside linebacker Blake Martinez and right tackle Bryan Bulaga. He also waived Jimmy Graham and the team lost Geronimo Allison and Kyler Fackrell as well.

He did bring in Christian Kirksey and Ricky Wagner, two players who figure to start at inside linebacker and right tackle respectively. Still, the dropoff in talent is noticeable; particularly at right tackle.

The Packers have 10 picks in this year’s draft and are thought to be a candidate to trade up in the first round. With the draft coming up in just a few days, here are five bold predictions about what we could see.
