The Wisconsin Football program has 5 players who could hear their names called on draft night. Here is where they are going in some of the latest mock drafts.

The NFL Draft is just over a week away and mock drafts are continuing to be released left and right as draft analysts put some of the finishing touches on their final predictions. And when it comes to the Wisconsin Football program, we continue to see five Badger players, in particular, pop up in these mocks. However, the predictions are a bit all over the place.

Jonathan Taylor is easily the most accomplished running back in this draft and last season he had shown that he can be a factor in the passing game as well. But with the running back position devalued a bit at the NFL level, along with concerns about Taylor’s pass-blocking ability and his past fumbling issues, we’ve seen him mocked anywhere from late in round one all the way towards the bottom of round two.

Meanwhile, Zack Baun is a bit all over the place as well as we’ve seen him mocked anywhere from the mid-20s of round one into the mid-50s of round two.

Then there is Quintez Cephus who was a late riser up draft boards but a poor 40 yard dash time at the combine set him back. And although Chris Orr had a very productive senior season, he was not invited to the combine and has been mocked as high as round four, but some also expect him to go late Day 3 or even undrafted.

The only prospect of this bunch that seems to be settled in is Tyler Biadasz, as many draft analysts have him being selected in Round 3.

So when the draft does finally arrive, it’ll certainly be difficult to pinpoint where these former Badgers are going to be selected. But for now, with a number of new mock drafts having been released in recent weeks, it’s once again time to take a peek at where the draft experts have these prospects ending up.
