2. Antoine Winfield Jr., S, Minnesota

Another prospect with a good NFL pedigree, Antoine Winfield Jr. is the son of former Viking Pro Bowl cornerback Antoine Winfield.

Winfield Jr. is extremely versatile, making him attractive to a lot of teams. He can play both safety and slot corner and move all over the field. That would be a perfect fit with Pettine’s defense, as he uses that fifth defensive back in a versatile fashion and depends on him for both run support and coverage.

At 5-foot-9, he’s small like his dad and is just an average athlete. However, he’s extremely intelligent and can read plays. He also has no issue bringing down ball-carriers and can hold his own in coverage against tight end, backs and receivers in the slot. He’s a great fit in a lot of ways.
