3 Offensive Tackles Green Bay Packers Could Target In First Round

2. Josh Jones, Houston

Where Jackson lacks collegiate experience at tackle, Josh Jones has plenty of it. He redshirted his freshman year at the University of Houston before going on to start all 45 games he appeared in over the next four years.

Despite the advanced experiences, Jones still needs to spend time on developing his footwork. The good news is he showed huge strides last season alone and appears to be hungry for coaching. He best projects in an offense that prefers to run the ball which could be the direction the Packers are trending.

He missed a few games in his career due to injury and that’s certainly worth keeping an eye on. However, he would be ready to contribute a lot sooner than Jackson–something that could be attractive to the win-now Packers.
