3 Offensive Tackles Green Bay Packers Could Target In First Round

With the 30th overall pick in the NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers could target any one of these three offensive tackles who should be available.

There are a number of directions the Green Bay Packers can go with their 30th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, as there are a number of needs they still have. After profiling five wide receivers they could select with their top pick, we now look at three offensive tackles who could be available.

The Packers have had a lot of movement at right tackle this offseason. They elected to let last year’s starter Bryan Bulaga walk in free agency. After a resurgent season which saw Bulaga stay healthier than ever and play extremely well (hello, Nick Perry), he eventually agreed to a three-year, $30 million deal with $19.25 million guaranteed with the Los Angeles Chargers.

Instead of coughing up all that dough, general manager Brian Gutekunst elected to go a cheaper route that would still net him a compensatory pick for Bulaga’s departure. At the beginning of free agency, the Packers signed the recently released Ricky Wagner to a two-year, $11 million deal. According to Over The Cap, Wagner’s deal is the 15th-highest for right tackles based on average salary per year.
