Starting Pitching

Brandon Woodruff

Woodruff has all the potential to be a true stud and carry the starting rotation in 2019. When healthy, he’s always shown great stuff and was awesome for most of last season. Let’s hope that continues in 2020.

Adrian Houser

Similar to Woodruff, House was very good for the majority of last year. He gives Milwaukee an underrated one-two punch at the top of their rotation.

Brett Anderson

One of two projected lefties in the starting rotation, Anderson started 31 games for the Oakland Athletics last year and sported a 3.89 ERA. Coming off the second-most innings of his career, it will be interesting to see if he can stay healthy–something he hasn’t done very often throughout his time in the MLB.

Josh Lindblom

Lindblom could be a game-changer for the Brewers. He won the Korea League’s version of the Cy Young the last two seasons and MVP in 2019 as well. Hopefully, he can carry that same magic back to the MLB where he most recently struggled in 2017.

Eric Lauer

Lauer was the San Diego Padres 2019 Opening Day starter, but finds himself at the bottom of the Brewers’ rotation. That will happen when you sport a mid 4’s ERA. Milwaukee hopes the lefty can live up to his potential and bring his ERA down half a point.
