2. Denzel Mims, Baylor

Quickly becoming a fan favorite to be selected in the first round, Denzel Mims is coming off a monster campaign at Baylor. He posted 1020 receiving yards (the second time in his collegiate career he surpassed 1000 yards) and a career-high 12 touchdown receptions. He had at least eight touchdown catches in his sophomore, junior and senior seasons.

At 6-foot-3, he fits the tall mold that general manager Brian Gutekunst likes in his receivers. However, Mims can also add some speed-running a 4.38 40-yard dash at the combine. Mims can use his speed to outrun cornerbacks and beat them deep. He’s also a legit threat in the red zone.

He needs to work on his route-running and ability to beat press man coverage. Fortunately, there’s plenty of time for him to improve in those areas if he can prove he’s a hard worker. Mims should be there at no. 30 if Green Bay wants to go his direction.
