Simulation #3

Round 1: Tee Higgins WR – Clemson

Round 2: Bryce Hall CB – Virginia

Round 3: Larrell Murchison IDL – NC State

Takeaway: After Tee Higgins’ performance at the NFL Combine we haven’t heard much about him since then, especially in connection to the Green Bay Packers. And it’s worth pointing out that his poor athletic measurements could make him someone who Green Bay just isn’t interested in. However, you can’t argue with the tape he’s produced and his results on the field.

Higgins was a very reliable target for Trevor Lawrence at Clemson, he would provide Green Bay with the downfield target that they were hoping Marquez Valdes-Scantling would turn into, and he and Aaron Rodgers together could be lights out in the red zone. I certainly wouldn’t be upset with this pick.

Meanwhile, the Bryce Hall selection in Round 2 may be a head-scratcher for some, but given the current lack of depth and question marks around the Packers’ cornerback room, not to mention that Kevin King is in the final year of his contract, I don’t mind this pick at all. And if it weren’t for an injury in 2019, Hall very well could have been a first-round selection in this year’s draft.

Finally, they once again land some help for Kenny Clark which is greatly needed. However, Murchison was a bit up and down during his college career, although he does have the upside. But Green Bay is still left looking for their long-term answer at right tackle.
