Simulation #2

Round 1: Jalen Reagor WR – TCU

Round 2: Malik Harrison LB – Ohio State

Round 3: Brycen Hopkins TE – Purdue

Takeaway: Once again Jalen Reagor makes an appearance as he remains – even for computers – a popular selection for the Green Bay Packers during the pre-draft process. Meanwhile, Malik Harrison gives them their potential long-term solution at the linebacker position, which is still a need even after the Christian Kirksey signing.

At this point, Kirksey’s health is still a bit of an unknown after playing in just nine total games the past two seasons. Not to mention that his contract is only for two years and Green Bay has an easy out after 2020 if needed.

Then when it comes to the Brycen Hopkins selection, I like the value here better than taking Kmet in Round 2, however, my same concerns remain about his production early on. And for those reasons, I’d rather invest in the tackle of the future than another young tight end. Of course, that largely depends on how the board falls for Green Bay.
