Simulation #1

Round 1: Jalen Reagor WR – TCU

Round 2: Cole Kmet TE – Notre Dame

Round 3: Rashard Lawrence IDL – LSU

Takeaway: This draft does hit on two major needs for the Green Bay Packers and that is adding weapons to the passing game as well as finding help inside for Kenny Clark which Rashard Lawrence should be able to provide on early downs.

Overall I’m a big fan of Jalen Reagor in this offense as he will have plenty of opportunities to win one-on-one matchups downfield with Davante Adams opposite of him. Not to mention that he can be used in the slot, on jet sweeps, and on wide receiver screens as well. He will give this offense that playmaking ability that they desperately need.

But in regards to the Cole Kmet selection, I do want to point out that very rarely do we see tight ends make significant impacts during their rookie seasons. So to assume that he would step in and help turn around this Packers’ passing attack, well that just may not be likely. Also, not drafting a tackle within the first three rounds could be costly.
