2. Bashaud Breeland, CB

Packers’ fans are familiar with Bashaud Breeland who played for Green Bay in 2018. However, those of us in Green Bay didn’t get a clear picture of who the real Breeland is, as he was coming off a foot injury that caused him to take a step back two years ago.

Fortunately, he looked closer to his true self with the Kansas City Cheifs in 2019 and is once again on the free agent market. Despite his strong play, he’s not getting the same type of attention as other top available cornerbacks and could wind up signing a below-market deal as a result.

Although cornerback isn’t a true position of need for Green Bay, they could definitely use good players at the position. Behind Jaire Alexander, Kevin King has been inconsistent and injury-prone throughout his career. Tramon Williams is still a free agent and his career is winding down. Breeland would provide a strong third option who could also start when called upon.
