With Bryan Bulaga’s future with the Green Bay Packers up in the air, these are three options that they have to fill the void for the 2020 season.

Reports surfaced at the NFL Combine that Bryan Bulaga and his representatives haven’t spoken with the Green Bay Packers. And to top it off, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic (subscription required) mentioned that based on what he had heard at the Combine, he expects Bulaga to sign elsewhere this offseason.

While wide receiver and inside linebacker may be the positions that many are focused on, if Bulaga isn’t back, in my opinion, tackle moves to priority No. 1.

So who will fill that role?

Well, I’ll get to that shortly but first I want to eliminate a couple of options. For one, given the Green Bay Packers limited cap space, it’s hard to imagine that the top free-agent tackle, Jack Conklin, will be on their radar. According to Spotrac he is expected to earn $15 million per year on his next deal, and honestly, that could be on the low-end.

The other alternative, but it’s really not, is a player already on the Packers’ roster. While Billy Turner may be a popular candidate, he would likely be eaten alive at the tackle position. Then there is Elgton Jenkins, but after a stellar rookie season at guard, why would Green Bay want to move him? And then there is Alex Light, but I’m sure you all remember how that turned out last season.

So, with Conklin and any internal options off the board, here are three options that the Green Bay Packers do have when it comes to filling to right tackle role in 2020.
