The Green Bay Packers need to add some depth to the cornerback room this offseason, and these are three free agents worth considering.

When we think of positions that the Green Bay Packers need to address this offseason, there are quite a few that come to mind before cornerback. Of course, there is receiver, inside linebacker, tackle, interior defensive lineman, and so on.

While most would agree that those four positions are likely higher up on GM Brian Gutekunst’s offseason to-do list, adding cornerback depth, whether it be through free agency or in the draft, is a must as well.

The Green Bay Packers have a great core made up of Jaire Alexander and Kevin King. Not to mention that we saw the emergence of Chandon Sullivan over the second half of the season. But after those three, there is a lot of uncertainty.

Tramon Williams is a free agent and he may or may not be back. Josh Jackson struggled to see the field in 2019 and could very well be a trade candidate. Meanwhile, Tony Brown was cut and although Ka’dar Hollman flashed a bit in the preseason, we still don’t know what the Packers have in him.

So with that said, Green Bay needs to find someone who can be a rotational player if needed, but above all else, step on the field and play meaningful snaps without being a huge liability.

However with other needs and limited cap space this offseason, we shouldn’t expect them to make a big signing. But for the right price, these three free agents could be viable options for the 2020 season.
