5. Patrick Queen, ILB, LSU

With the Packers desperately needing help at inside linebacker, it’s very conceivable they could use their first-round pick to potentially replace Blake Martinez. And, boy, would Queen be a good fit.

His stats won’t necessarily pop out at you from his time at LSU. He “only” recorded 85 total tackles last season–more than double his previous career-high. However, he did rack up 12 tackles for loss and three sacks.

Queen can run sideline to sideline and ensure he plays with a reckless abandon. That would be a relief after watching Martinez passively patrol the middle of the field for the past few seasons. The best part is he’d be an immediate starter and an immediate upgrade for the defense.
