Sixth Man of the Year: George Hill

Milwaukee has one of the best bench’s in the NBA which gives us many options to pick from. DiVincenzo could make a strong case as well. However, George Hill takes the cake here.

Hill has carried over his postseason success and is dominating off the bench. I don’t think he’s missed a three-point shot in 2019-20 (he’s actually shooting 51.1 percent). This is huge for a team that needs as many shooters around Antetokounmpo as possible.

Hill also provides stability at point guard when Eric Bledsoe gets in his own head. When Bledsoe is playing well, he can slide over the two and fit in perfectly alongside him. He’s been a sparkplug off the bench while also being a calming factor in big moments. It doesn’t get any better than Hill at the backup point guard position.
