Green Bay Packers: The 10 Best Non-Quarterback Free Agents
8. Hunter Henry
The Packers seem to cycle through veteran tight ends more than any other team so why not add another one to the mix while also targeting the best tight end on the market?
Henry comes with obvious red flags–his injury history. He’s never played an entire season and missed all of the 2018 campaign. However, when he’s on the field, he’s great.
The Packers could use an elite field-stretching tight end and Henry fits the bill. He can line up on the line of scrimmage, in the slot and on the outside; and win at all three spots. That’s a huge advantage and something Green Bay could desperately use. He can also hold his own in the run game–an important caveat in the Packers’ offense.
7. Jadeveon Clowney
The Packers have little use for an edge player at this point given the production Za’Darius Smith and Preston Smith put up last season. They even have Rashan Gary behind them as insurance. Regardless that Jadeveon Clowney is one of the best outside rushers in the game, there’s no chance Green Bay even looks into acquiring his services.
