Breshad Perriman

Selected in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft, Breshad Perriman struggled to find any sort of traction during his first three seasons. During that span which included two years in Baltimore and another in Cleveland, he would play in just 37 games, total 916 yards with five total touchdowns. But on the bright side he did average 15.5 yards per catch.

However in 2019 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Perriman had a career year with 645 receiving yards, six touchdowns and a whopping 17.9 yards per catch. Not to mention that he has become a much more reliable target over the last two seasons as Pro Football Focus has credited him with only one drop during that stretch after totaling nine in his first two seasons.

Perriman is just overall incredibly athletic and dynamic with the ball in his hands and his Relative Athletic Score – which grades a players’ combine measurements on a 1 to 10 scale – of 9.96 is the eighth highest all time by a wide receiver.

There’s no question that Perriman’s speed and ability to pick up yards after the catch would be a welcomed addition to this Green Bay Packers’ passing game and with his skill set he could be a real weapon under coach Matt LaFleur.

When discussing Perriman, I think it’s also important to point out that the Packers’ current Director of Football Operations, Milt Hendrickson, was in Baltimore when they drafted him. And so far in his short tenure with Green Bay, the Packers have already targeted a few former Ravens.
