Round 3, Pick 94: Quartney Davis WR – Texas A&M

Kyle Crabbs’ Analysis:

"“Crisp! There’s very little wasted movement in Davis’ game…he’s a taller player but watching him operate in releases and breaks brings me flashbacks to Samuel at South Carolina…and Davis is quick, too. Very easy accelerator who gets up to top speed quickly against off coverage to eat up space and force defenders to respect his ability to get vertical. A&M has moved him around in alignments — he’s not handcuffed to one side of the line of scrimmage or slot versus boundary or field in order to successfully stack coverage and get separation.”"

Round 4, Pick 126: John Simpson IOL – Clemson

Kyle Crabbs’ Analysis:

"“John Simpson projects as a scheme specific prospect at the NFL level. Simpson has ample power and plenty of natural anchor in his game to put off bull rushes, but his lack of short area agility, flexibility, range and foot speed as a blocker will pose significant issues for anything other than true WCOs relying on gap/power rushing concepts. Simpson displays only marginal tools as a viable starter on Sundays and will appeal more instead as a quality depth option for most schemes.”"
