Using The Draft Network’s mock draft machine, here is a seven-round simulation to provide some insight into how the draft could go for the Green Bay Packers in April.

It’s hard to believe that it was just one week ago that the Green Bay Packers suffered a disappointing loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship game. And now with the offseason underway, many have shifted their focus to the upcoming NFL Draft in April.

As we saw last Sunday, as far as Green Bay has come in just one year, they still have a ways to go. And if they hope to take that next step towards winning a Super Bowl, they’ll not only have to utilize free agency once again, but also have success in the draft.

While plenty of mock drafts are being circulated, since it is still early in the process we haven’t seen many full seven-round mocks. However, using The Draft Network’s mock draft machine, I was able to run a full seven-round draft for the Green Bay Packers.

Now, a few things to keep in mind. One, I used TDN’s Predictive Board which takes into account the best available players as well as what the team needs are. And second, I used the simulator for all picks, including the Packers, to take away any sort of bias that I may have towards a player or a position.

So, with all of that now out of the way, let’s take a look at who the Green Bay Packers select, along with some analysis from our friends at The Draft Network and the Pro Football Network, as well as my big takeaways from the results.
