What is your final prediction for the game?

Justin: It’s hard to see any team stopping the 49ers right now. It would certainly be a mistake to overlook a team as dangerous as the Packers, but given how well the 49ers are playing right now and the fact that they easily handled Green Bay in their last meeting, it seems foolish to pick anyone but San Francisco.

Kyle Shanahan continues to work his magic on offense while the defense remains perhaps the most revered unit in the NFL. The Green Bay Packers are a very good team, but if the 49ers play as well as they did last week, there’s no reason they shouldn’t be able to punch their ticket to the Super Bowl. Final score prediction — 49ers 31, Packers 24.

Takeaway: I’ve already mentioned that this is a better team than in Week 12 with Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams clicking. Along with the unexpected emergence of Chandon Sullivan, Tyler Ervin, and Allen Lazard. Not to mention that they’ve been much better defensively against the run, while also limiting the number of big plays.

But ultimately in the end, I think San Francisco will be too much for the Packers to handle. Especially on the road away from the friendly confines of Lambeau Field. However, regardless of the outcome, this was a successful season under first year head coach, Matt LaFleur.
