3. Packers’ Receivers vs Seahawks’ Corners

Davante Adams is going to do Davante Adams things, but it’s everyone else that we have to look out for. Allen Lazard has grown into a decent number two this season, although he’s still been inconsistent at times. Outside of those two though, it’s been a lot of question marks throughout the year. Marquez Valdes-Scantling came into the year with a lot of promise, but he hasn’t shown the same connection to Rodgers that he had at times last season.

Seahawks cornerback Tre Flowers has been a decent top option for them this year, but he’s been up and down thus far. On the other side, Shaquill Griffin hasn’t come down with any interceptions, but he leads the team with 13 passes defended. Both of these guys have been susceptible to being taken advantage of this year, and Rodgers has shown that he can still carve up opponents when he’s feeling it.

For the Green Bay Packers’ passing game to do its best work, they’ll need one guy outside of the top two to make some plays. It can be a group effort between MVS and Geronimo Allison, but it can’t be just the top two guys on this team. Against the Oakland Raiders this year, everyone got in on the action. This defense is a bit better than that one, but it’s not the Legion of Boom that it once was.
