Kevin King

After battling injuries his first two NFL seasons, Kevin King has put together the breakout season that Green Bay Packers fans have been waiting for. In his 15 games he’s made 66 total tackles, recorded 15 pass breakups and come away with five interceptions, which is the second most in the league. He’s also allowing a completion percentage of less than 60 percent and quarterbacks have a passer rating of just 85.5 when targeting him. Yeah, he’s been pretty good.

But you know who else has been pretty good? Jaire Alexander, who is developing into a true No. 1 cornerback and a future All-Pro before our eyes. Of the two, Alexander has been more steady but together they’ve formed quite the dynamic duo this season.

While overall it’s been a very nice season for King, he has had his ups and downs as well. However, if he can lock it in for the playoffs and continue playing at his current level, between him and Alexander, along with Adrian Amos and Darnell Savage on the back-end, moving the ball through the air for opposing quarterbacks is going to be a nightmare. Not to mention that they’ll also have The Smiths and Kenny Clark breathing down their neck.
