Through 13 games, the performances from these three Green Bay Packers’ players have been pleasant surprises this season.

Despite some of the rumblings from last Sunday’s game against Washington and although it’s not always pretty, the Green Bay Packers are winning games as they currently sit at 10-3 through week 14. Not only that, but they also lead the NFC North and at the moment, they hold the two seed in the tight NFC playoff race.

As always in order to have this amount of success late into the season it takes a total team effort, but of course, there are a few names that stand out above the rest for their performances. Naturally, Za’Darius Smith and Preston Smith come to mind on the defensive side of the ball, along with Aaron Rodgers, Aaron Jones and Davante Adams for the offense.

However, any good team is going to get contributions from unexpected places. Whether that’s a player performing at a higher level than anticipated or a player who just came out of nowhere to produce. Either way it is needed, and for the Green Bay Packers it is no different.

In taking a look back from week one all the way through week 14, these three players, in particular, have been pleasant surprises with their play on the field in 2019 and have become integral parts of the team’s success.
