With the Green Bay Packers’ front office hard at work scouting, here are 10 potential players they could draft next year.

The Green Bay Packers are in the middle of a playoff race. At 9-3 they lead the NFC North and have their eye on getting back into the conversation for a first-round bye. As they’re prepping for this season, however, the front office is hard at work scouting for the draft.

Even with the 2020 NFL Draft months away, now is a busy time for scouts. The college football season just wrapped up and all that remains are Conference Championship games and the Bowl season. As the scouts and front office prepare for the draft, let’s begin to familiarize ourself with some prospects who could be available around the Packers’ first pick in the draft:

Dylan Moses, LB, Alabama

The Packers are extremely thin at linebacker and Dylan Moses could provide a huge boost there. He has elite size and speed for his position and can cover the entire field. More importantly, he’s good against the run and in the open field. That’s exactly what the doctor ordered for Green Bay. If he’s still around when they pick, they should snatch him real quick.

Kristian Fulton, CB, LSU

Green Bay has used a ton of draft capital on their secondary recently, but they still haven’t solved their woes. The team might choose to be patient with youngsters Kevin King and Josh Jackson. However, if they choose to draft a corner, Fulton could be their man. He’s a smart player with great speed and mobility in his hips.

Trevon Diggs, CB, Alabama

Another corner that could be available when the Packers pick is Trevon Diggs. At 6-foot-2, he’s long and has great strength for his position. He also has good speed and can track the ball downfield. His aggressive play hurts him at times, but that’s certainly coachable.

Laviska Shenault JR, WR, Colorado

It’s not a secret that the Packers need help at wide receiver. They lack consistent weapons behind Davante Adams at the position. That’s where Laviska Shenault comes in. He’s a big play machine waiting to happen, as he’s extremely dangerous with the football in his hands. He creates a ton of yards after catch and makes life easier for quarterbacks.

Jalen Reagor, WR, TCU

Jalen Reagor is another option at the position. He’s another big play receiver waiting to happen-only in a different way. Reagor can stretch the field in ways the Packers have dreamed of for years. He’s an elite athlete with elite speed and jumping ability.

Raekwon Davis, IDL, Alabama

The Packers’ defensive line has taken a step back this season with the exception of Kenny Clark. There’s a reason their run defense struggles and their line is part of that reason. He’s an extremely strong player and can win at the point of attack. He can also fend off his blocker and make plays in the backfield.

Javon Kinlaw, IDL, South Carolina

Javon Kinlaw possesses amazing size at 6-foot-6 and 303 pounds. He’s also gotten better each season including his senior year at South Carolina. He has a good first step that allows him to beat slower offensive linemen and can take advantage of one-on-one matchups.

Andrew Thomas, OT, Georgia

It’s unclear if the Packers will need an offensive tackle for next season. Bryan Bulaga will be a free agent and might not return. If he doesn’t, Andrew Thomas could be a good replacement. He’s been dominant at Georgia and wins nearly every matchup with his man. The only issue is there’s a really good chance he won’t be available when the Packers are on the clock.

Jedrick Wills, OT, Alabama

Sticking with offensive tackles, Jedrick Wills would be a solid pick for Green Bay. He’s a great run blocker who also uses his strength and base to protect in the passing game. Opponents can’t bull rush him and must find a way around him. However, that’s no easy task either.

Henry Ruggs, WR, Alabama

Henry Ruggs would be another dream pick for the Packers. He’s one of the fastest players to come out of the draft in years and combines that with great run after the catch abilities. He also has great leaping ability and has strong hands to high-point the ball in the air. Ruggs would be a home run pick for the Packers.
