2. Paul Molitor

The Brewers acquired Paul Molitor in the first round of the 1977 MLB Draft out of the University of Minnesota. It only took him one fricken season to make it to the show and he was certainly ready for the increased competition.

Molitor hit .273 in his first season in the big leagues-a number that actually proved to be a down season for the infielder. His .303 Brewers’ batting average ranks second in franchise history and he eclipsed the .300 mark eight times.

He also earned five All-Star appearances including MVP votes in six seasons. Molitor moved all over the diamond throughout his career, beginning at second base. He also spent time in the outfield and at third base. Molitor helped lead the Brewers to the 1982 pennant and is one of the best players in franchise history. Duh!
