3. Ryan Braun

Ryan Braun is on track to spend his entire career with the Brewers. That’s great news for both parties. Braun was selected with the fifth overall pick in the 2005 draft. He became a full-time MLB player just two years later when he won the Rookie of the Year award in 2007.

Braun would go on to earn six All-Star game appearances and has been the model of consistency. Despite battling back injuries during the latter part of his career, he has a career .285 average. He also has three top-three MVP finishes including actually winning the award in 2011. He smacked 33 home runs and drove in 111 runs while hitting .332 that season.

At 36-years-old, Brauns’s career is obviously winding down. Regardless, he continues to post solid offensive numbers. His name also litters the franchise ranks, placing first in home runs, second in RBIs, third in walks and fifth in batting average.
