16. Jonathan Lucroy

Jonathan Lucroy was selected in the third round of the 2007 MLB Draft and made his Brewers’ debut three years later. A catcher by nature, Lucroy quickly gained a reputation as one of the best pitch-framers in baseball. This was extremely helpful for his pitching staff and earned him a lot of respect across the league.

Although unspectacular, he was very solid with a bat in his hands. He hit over .300 twice in his Brewers’ career and finished with a .284 average. He was never a great power guy with a career-high of 18 home runs in Milwaukee back in 2013.

He did earn All-Star appearances in 2014 and 2016 before being traded to the Texas Rangers in the latter season. He’s bounced around since that trade, but is still known for his time in Milwaukee. He was a huge part of their 2011 team that went to the NLCS.
