Worst-case scenario

Milwaukee is a supremely talented team so their floor is higher than a lot of team’s ceiling. Regardless, anything short of an Eastern Conference Finals appearance, and maybe even an NBA Finals appearance, will be looked at as a disappointment.

With Giannis Antetokounmpo set to lead the way, the Bucks have the best player in the world. Or at least one of them. He alone raises this team’s aspirations and makes achieving even the wildest dreams possible.

However, some analysts have criticized the Bucks for a lack of a true second star. Right now, Khris Middleton fills that role, but he doesn’t compare to the likes of Ben Simmons, Paul George, Anthony Davis and other co-stars. If that gets in the way, it could prevent Milwaukee from obtaining their second NBA Title in franchise history and could lead to a second-round playoff exit in a worst-case scenario.
