Additions

Although the Bucks lost talent at the top of their roster (more on that in the next slide), they added depth and quality players throughout. Their major additions were Wesley Matthews, Robin Lopez, Kyle Korver, Dragan Bender and Frank Mason.

Matthews is the “prize” free agent of this class, as he’ll likely step in as the starter at shooting guard. He isn’t what he once was, but the Bucks don’t need him to be. If he plays his role, Milwaukee will be just fine.

Lopez and Korver were the other big names in this class. Lopez has a lot left in the tank and should be able to anchor the defense when his brother, Brook Lopez, sits. If he can hit his threes at a successful clip it could be a huge steal. We’ll see what Korver has left in the tank. Mason could also play a role as the third point guard, especially with Bledsoe out for a week or so. We can also add Thanasis Antetokounmpo to this group.
