What is the key to a Detroit victory?

Bob: The key to victory will be controlling the clock on offense with a very balanced attack.  The Lions will need to finish drives with touchdowns, not field goals.  With the Packers likely to miss Davante Adams, standout corner Darius Slay will be matched up elsewhere and should dominate his assignment.  Missing Adams could be the difference in the football game.  Keenan Allen fared well against Slay in week two. Missing Adams could end up being a colossal key Monday night.

Takeaway: In the past not having Adams would have hurt much more than what it does now. But under Matt LaFleur who relies more on the running game and utilizes the tight ends much more effectively in the passing game, just as we saw last week, this Green Bay Packers’ offense can still put up points even without Adams. For the Packers to win they’ll need to establish the run on offense while creating pressure and forcing mistakes on defense.
