What is the best aspect of this Lions team?

Bob: The Detroit Lions are a defensive first unit under head coach Matt Patricia.  That unit should keep them in most games throughout the season.  If the defense continues to play the way they are expected too, the group will continue to be the most important group to this team.  When they are right, it allows Matthew Stafford to bleed the clock on offense and run the football rather than continually playing catch up as they have for the last decade.

Takeaway: The Green Bay Packers will be without Davante Adams once again but one thing that they have this season on offense that they didn’t last season is balance. The Packers ranked first in 2018 in terms of passing percentage, but this season they rank 15th. As a result, we’ve seen more Aaron Jones and last week in Dallas was a perfect example of how effective they can be when the running game is established. Although Detroit has A’Shawn Robinson upfront and Darius Slay in the secondary, this is a much different Packers offense than they’ve seen in years past.
