ARLINGTON, TEXAS – SEPTEMBER 08: Blake Jarwin #89 of the Dallas Cowboys yells as he comes off the field in the fourth quarter against the New York Giants at AT&T Stadium on September 08, 2019 in Arlington, Texas. (Photo by Richard Rodriguez/Getty Images) /

Who are two under the radar players that Packer fans should watch for?

Reid: On offense that player has to be TE2 Blake Jarwin. Starting receiver Michael Gallup has been ruled out and his counterpart, Amari Cooper, is noticeably limited with a foot/ankle injury. I think slot man Randall Cobb (a player you’re well-acquainted with) and Jarwin should see a lot of action in the middle of the field. Jarwin is long and lean and can get downfield in a hurry.

On defense, I was going to say FS Xavier Woods but he was hurt last week and may not play. So instead I’m going to say, DT Maliek Collins. He’s big. He’s quick and he’s due for a breakout. Aaron Rodgers is slippery so Collins may not get a sack but he can certainly cause havoc in the middle

Takeaway: A big key to the Saints win over Dallas last week was that cornerback Marshon Lattimore was able to take Amari Cooper out of the game. Well, this week the Green Bay Packers are going to hope that Jaire Alexander can do the same. This will allow Mike Pettine to use an extra defender elsewhere, whether that be on Blake Jarwin, Randall Cobb, or in the running game.
