What is your prediction?

Dan: As much as I hate to admit, I think the Green Bay Packers escape with the win in this one. Between all of the injuries, the Eagles are dealing with on top of a shorter week, the Packers seem like a team that will be too much to handle for Philadelphia. I’ll go with 34-17, Green Bay.

Takeaway: I am going to agree with Dan on this one. As I originally alluded to, the home teams on Thursday Night games historically have a huge advantage given the short week and that they don’t have to travel.

That coupled with the Eagles’ injuries, – especially in the secondary – a stout Green Bay defense that is forcing turnovers, and a Packers’ offense that is slowly figuring things out, I expect them to win comfortably at Lambeau Field and move to 4-0 on the season.
