Green Bay Packers: 5 Things to know about the Eagles
By Paul Bretl
As the Green Bay Packers prepare for their Thursday Night matchup against Philadelphia, here are five things you need to know about the Eagles.
After beating the Denver Broncos just a few days ago, the Green Bay Packers have a quick turnaround as the Philadelphia Eagles come to town for a primetime Thursday Night matchup.
The Packers are 3-0 on the season after their stellar defensive play led by Za’Darius and Preston Smith has carried them to each of their first three victories. Meanwhile, the offense has looked very good as of late in the first quarter but has struggled to make adjustments once off-script.
Philadelphia, on the other hand, is at 1-2 this season after two straight losses to the Atlanta Falcons and the Detroit Lions. Realistically this is a game that Green Bay should win as the Eagles are very beat-up right now and on a short week, historically the home team has a huge advantage.
Just as I’ve done in weeks past, I was able to work with a writer from the opposing team. This week it was Dan Parzych of Section 215 where they cover anything and everything Philadelphia sports.
Dan was kind enough to answer five of my questions to help provide some insight into this Eagles team. As always, I reciprocated and answered five of Dan’s questions about the Green Bay Packers, so be sure to check that out as well at Section 215.
