What is your final prediction for the game?

The Packers haven’t beaten the Vikings in their last five contests but that streak will be on the line in Week 2. However, I do believe that Minnesota will be able to build off their impressive win over the Falcons despite the Packers beating the division rival Bears last week.

Minnesota won’t run the ball as easily against Green Bay, but that will still be the focus of the offense. Cousins will definitely need to throw more than ten passes on Sunday since the team probably won’t get off to as hot of a start as they did against Atlanta.

Green Bay will score points in this game. Unlike when most of Atlanta’s damage was done in garbage time, the Packers are just too resilient not to keep firing back at the Vikings defense. This will come down to the Vikings pass rush getting to the opposing quarterback, which should happen enough to keep the high-powered green and gold from getting that win.

Takeaway: I think this will be another defensive battle similar to the Packers week one matchup in Chicago. Green Bay will need the help of their defense once again to keep the game close, but I think the offense is able to be a bit more productive this week and comes away with the win.
