What is the best aspect of this Vikings team?

It all comes down to Mike Zimmer, the team’s coaching staff, and Rick Spielman. There will be a lot of focus on big-name players like Adam Thielen, Stefon Diggs, Kirk Cousins, Harrison Smith, Everson Griffen, and others, but the way the coaching staff puts all that talent together is amazing to see.

For example, last year we saw the Vikings as one of the worst rushing offenses in the NFL. It’s obvious that improving it was a focus of the team this offseason. From changing their blocking scheme to bringing in a new coaching staff, and acquiring personnel to make the team succeed.

Defensively, Packers fans know all about Zimmer’s ability to disguise defenses and bring unexpected pressure. Taking the personnel he has and playing to their strengths is a talent of the head coach and is one of the reasons he’s already the franchise’s fourth most winning coach.

Takeaway: Since taking over as the Vikings’ head coach, Mike Zimmer has had a quite a bit of success against this Green Bay Packers team, including a record of 5-2-1 in their last eight meetings. Zimmer’s defense has done a very good job of slowing Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay offense but hopefully under Matt LaFleur, we see a different result.
